about us
I love home.
And I love all it represents. It is a place of solace, it is a place of rest, it is a place of fun and laughter. It is a place of family, born and chosen. My entire career has been focused around the idea of creating and improving home for others, a safe and healthy place that allows us to live our values and priorities here and out in the world. And this is exactly what professional organizing allows me to do for you!
More reasons I love organizing with others:
I love being one of the helpers – someone who can support you to make life better!
I get a silly amount of satisfaction seeing projects completed!
I love that the end result of good organizing isn’t about prioritizing stuff. It’s about developing a healthy relationship with the possessions you choose so your true values and priorities can get the attention they deserve. What is better than that?! Seriously!
I have a degree in construction management (major) and architecture (minor) because I’m so devoted to the idea that our environments strongly affect how we feel and function.
I have an MBA because I believe managing our resources (especially time!) efficiently allows us to live our values more fully.
I was a messy kid, and it is still something I understand well! I’m not someone who can say I always knew I wanted to be an organizer. I really understand how disorganization happens and how no single organization ‘method’ is right for everyone (even if it’s marketed that way!).
I’ve moved a lot, I had grandparents who passed a lot of stuff on to me, I have kids. There are a lot of reasons for needing a little help getting organized, I SO get that!
My previous career as a project manager necessitated that I be meticulously organized and have open and clear communication with my clients about their needs.
My other career, being a mom, goes much better when I’m organized! There’s so many opportunities for organization/disorganization that make the difference between a good day and one I’d rather not repeat.
